Summer Stretch & Rest Wednesday 6:15pm

Come to enjoy a gentle restorative yoga class paired with active yin stretching. An evening of calm to reset the mind, body and soul for the rest of the week.  Crystal Singing Bowl sound therapy, yin & restorative. It's a match made in the heavens!

Yin yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through discomfort and sit with your thoughts.

Restorative yoga is for the individual seeking the benefits of a gentle, relaxing and nourishing practice. The combination of gentle yoga movements and supported restorative postures improves range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress.  Appropriate for all experience levels of practice.

Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation that has the power to transform, heal and rejuvenate you at core levels.  Through the use of body sensing, breath awareness, guided imagery and other practices, you are systematically guided on a meditation journey through each level of your whole being.
