Reiki I - In Person Training

Reiki is a spiritual healing art. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion.

During Joyful Reiki training we will learn, explore, experience, develop and discuss hands on and hands off Reiki. We will explore the add ons of crystals and essential oils as part of the reiki experience and determine what fits your healing hand technique the best. Essential oils and crystals that are explored will be part of your take home kit.

What is Reiki?

Reiki (Ray-Key) is an ancient, gentle, hands-on healing art that helps you feel better and heal better. Dr. Usui, a Japanese Christian educator, rediscovered this healing method in his study of ancient Tibetan texts. You can use Reiki to facilitate deep relaxation, relieve pain, and promote healing and personal growth. Reiki stimulates your body’s innate healing resources, encouraging a return to wellness.

Reiki means Universal Life Force – the healing energy of the universe. The attunement ceremony empowers you to transmit Reiki energy through your hands. Once attuned, you have this ability for life and can use this healing energy to promote balance and harmony on all levels of your being.

Reiki I:  

Discuss the lineage of Reiki. Learn exactly what Reiki is and what it is not, practice doing Reiki on yourself and others, and receive the Reiki I attunements. You leave class with a certificate, Reiki I Kit and notebook. You will be fully trained and attuned to do Reiki on Self and pets. 

Our Reiki training program is over the course of two afternoons.

Our first segment is January 22, 2022 for Reiki I and Reiki II is on January 23, 2022.

Reiki I is a pre-requesite for Reiki II.
