CLASSES

Our class list includes a range of levels and techniques and are taught by our certified team of instructors. We pride ourselves in offering classes that are both dynamic and meditative, letting you move your body as well as still the mind.

Each class provides personal modifications and emphasizes integrating mind, body, energy, and breath; within a light and supportive environment. In addition to sequencing for an energetic effect, meditation, pranayama and a guided savasana are offered in each class.

All levels of practice are welcome.

Sacred Stretch & Grounding Yoga

Thursdays at 6:30PM with Joy

Difficulty: Beginner, all levels

Style: Hatha Yoga, Slow Yoga

Infusing stretching postures, soothing yoga, and a meditative aspect, this class incorporates a slow, easy flow allowing the body and mind to relax. Breathing techniques and gentle postures for easy joint movements and releasing tension improves flexibility, neuromuscular coordination, balance, postural awareness and maximizes full range of motion to help decrease the risk of injury when performing activities of daily living.​  

Chair Yoga
 

Tuesday/Thursday at 9:30AM with Susan  **ENDING NOV 1

Difficulty: Beginner, anyone who would prefer not to practice on floor

Chair yoga is an adaptable version of yoga helpful for any body shape and ability. Chair yoga is created for anyone who spends time behind a desk, not able to easily move from floor to standing or just looking for an adaptable version of yoga to aid in health / physical recovery.

Chair yoga helps reduce stress, improves balance, strength & flexibility, focuses the mind, helps with pain management and breath awareness.

Yin & Yoga Nidra

Style: Yin & Yoga Nidra

Yin & Yoga Nidra are a blended balance of targeting your deep connective tissues  and is paired with a guided meditation that takes you through the layers of consciousness for a powerful, relaxing transformation. Yin yoga poses are held for a longer period of time to target tissues like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. Yoga Nidra enables clients to focus on body sensing and breath awareness through guided imagery and other practices. You are systematically guided on a meditation journey through each level of your whole being for a rejuvenated self.

Shakti Sculpt & Flow
 

Monday/Fridays at 6:30PM with Jeannine

Difficulty: Beginner friendly, all levels

Style: Vinyasa Yoga

1 HR

Blending yoga and strength training, this class offers a stronger flow sequence combining traditional yoga postures and strategic strengthening exercises to build strength and tone the entire body with non-traditional yoga tunes! 

Bring optional 1, 2 or 3 lb hand weights, water, maybe a hand towel and yoga mat.

Senior Couple Doing Yoga

Gentle Morning Yoga (50+)

Monday at 9:00AM with Joy

Difficulty: Beginner friendly, all levels

Style: Gentle Hatha Yoga

Designed for adults 50+ who may benefit from a slower pace class with a recognition of age-related functional changes. The class brings a mindfulness to our gentle practice of postures and stretching. Classes consist of easier postures with a focus on breathing techniques to help focus the mind, unwind, build strength, increase flexibility, improve posture and balance. Clients are encouraged to find their own balance between effort and ease during the practice.

Soothing Sunday Morning Yoga

Begins November 1

Difficulty: Beginner friendly, all levels

Style: Gentle, Hatha Yoga

Taking our traditional gentle yoga to Sunday mornings to bring peacefulness as you practice your breathing, postures, and stretching in a sacred environment. ​

Gentle Zen Flow
 

Wednesday 6:30PM with Aly

Difficulty:  Beginner, all levels

Style: Hatha/Vinyasa

1 HR

We approach the flow with attention inward, listening to our body as we flow through sun salutations with variations. The flow is gentle enough to be a beginner friendly class. Listen to your body as you flow through this class. Each class focuses on a zenful flow and gentle breathing at a slower pace. 

Peace, Love, & Gentle Yoga

Tuesday 6:30PM with Joy

Difficulty: Beginner friendly, all levels

Style: Gentle Hatha Yoga

This class is designed for anyone who is looking for a slower pace class with a recognition of body ability and working with a gentle approach. Classes consist of gentle postures with breathing techniques to help focus the mind, build strength, increase flexibility, improve posture and balance. Clients are encouraged to find their own balance between effort and ease during the practice.

Joyful Yoga offers our clients the opportunity to take their practice to a deeper level. Whether that means working on their inward journey, physical advancement or reconditioning the body we are here to guide you in a positive direction. 

When we work with our clients on a personal, one on one basis, we provide them an unique approach.  The clients needs are multi-leveled. Perhaps your journey allows for mantra practice or maybe the most beneficial approach is journaling. Each client's program is completely designed around their goals, hopes & wishes. 

Joyful Yoga's program incorporates a multiple layering of components to allow the individual a personalized program directly aligned with their specific needs. We work in conjunction with other medical professionals, such as physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists. Our goal is to provide a complementary approach in healing.
